I visited Pokémon Center Fukuoka on December 4th, so I wanted to share a quick update—this time more like a diary-style entry rather than a full market report.

These days I’ve been going to Pokémon Centers almost daily, picking up goods and packs for customers who order through me.
Pokémon Center Fukuoka is located right next to JR Hakata Station, so access is extremely convenient.

During December, the Christmas illuminations around Hakata Station are beautiful—there’s a giant tree, food stalls, and tables set up where you can enjoy hot wine, beer, and local snacks.
And since this is Fukuoka (Kyushu), it’s worth mentioning: Kyushu is known for high alcohol consumption, especially shochu.
It has a strong aroma (sweet potato or rice), but once you try it, it grows on you—so definitely give it a try while traveling!

Today’s Pokémon Center Report (Dec 4)

The Pokémon Center did not have Mega Dream ex boxes in stock today.

Pack purchase limits were:

• Mega Dream ex → 1 pack per person
• Terastral Festival ex → 2 packs
• Mega Brave → 10 packs
• Cyber Judge → Up to 5 boxes

Compared to popular stores in Tokyo or Osaka, Fukuoka tends to have better stock variety—so for travelers, Fukuoka is actually a good spot to visit.

After that, I casually checked 5 convenience stores on the way home (no specific plan), and surprisingly I was able to pick up 12 packs in total.

Opening Packs at Home

I only buy packs directly from Pokémon Center or convenience stores, never from resellers.

On sites like Mercari, many packs are already “searched” meaning only the non-hit packs are resold.
It’s risky, so I avoid them completely.

I opened today’s packs and… results were disappointing.
But at least I know they weren’t tampered with.

Recently I bought 3 packs and pulled a Mega Charizard X ex SAR, so the best strategy is still:

Buy only from trusted locations.
Even if the quantity is small, the odds are still far better.

Why I Write These Posts

I know many overseas collectors don’t have a Pokémon Center in their country.
One of my strengths is that I live close to the Pokémon Center and visit regularly, so I can help with goods, vintage cards, single cards, and booster boxes.

Reddit has strict rules about certain words, so I cannot write everything…
But recently in Japan, foreigners are unfortunately becoming common targets for scams, especially in the Pokémon market.

I don’t write this to say “trust me” but to help you understand the real situation in Japan.
That’s why I enjoy sharing my daily updates on my blog, even if they’re simple.
