HAKATA7 is a small business run by my wife and me. We work with collectors around the world, helping them find Japanese trading cards, magazines, games, and other collectibles.
I spend time exploring local shops, following the Japanese collectibles market, and sharing what I see here in Fukuoka. I also do most of the packing myself.
My wife handles orders, payments, and customer communications.
This blog is where I share more than product information. I write about everyday life in Japan, the realities of the collectibles market, and the people and experiences behind our business.
We started as PokeShopJP before becoming HAKATA7. Our name has changed, but the importance we place on personal communication and trust has not.
The stories and opinions here are my own. I sometimes use AI tools to help organize information and refine my English, but the experiences I share come from my life in Japan.
