Recently, there has been a rapid increase in AI-generated fake content circulating online.
In this article, I’d like to share some real examples of misinformation and explain what’s actually true.

■ Ukiyo-e Pokémon Cards at Tokyo Infiorata 2026 FALSE

You may have already seen posts claiming that
Ukiyo-e style Pokémon cards will be released at Tokyo Infiorata 2026.

To be clear: this information is incorrect.

AI-generated images of Pokémon cards are being posted on platforms like X (Twitter)
without any explanation.
People who see these images assume they are real products and start spreading the rumor.

I personally introduced Tokyo Infiorata 2026 on Instagram,
but I want to clarify:

👉 There is no confirmation of any promo cards being released or distributed.
👉 And in my opinion, it is highly unlikely that such cards will appear.

I shared it purely as an example of Japanese culture (Ukiyo-e) not as a trading card product.

■ Heinz × Pikachu Promo Card DOES NOT EXIST

Next is the Heinz collaboration.

Heinz has officially released a Pikachu-themed ketchup product,
and I personally confirmed and photographed it in-store.

However, false claims such as:

Buy one carton and receive a promo card
There is a collaboration trading card

have been spreading on X (Twitter),
along with AI-generated fake promo card images.

👉 These are completely false.

As of now:

No promo cards have been distributed
No official announcement has been made

■ In the AI Era, Information Control Matters More Than Ever

Creating AI fan art is not a bad thing I fully understand why people enjoy it.

However, when such content is shared without context,
it easily leads to misunderstandings.

And the reality is:

👉 Many people believe these fake images are real products.

■ What I Personally Guarantee

I strictly follow these principles:

Always verify the source of information
Clearly state when something is unconfirmed
Visit official stores (Pokémon Center, Bandai Namco Cross Store, etc.) to verify
Never use misleading content

To be honest,
if I posted unverified “hype” content,
I could easily generate a lot of traffic and inquiries.

But doing so would destroy trust.

Even some overseas sellers are using these AI fake cards for promotion,
but unverified information should never be used for sales or marketing.

Information stays online forever.
Even old posts can mislead people into thinking something is still available.
