A new One Piece Ichiban Kuji CARD GAME campaign will start in mid-February 2026, and along with it comes a special promotional Monkey D. Luffy card that is already drawing a lot of attention in Japan.

While this card is most likely not holographic, that doesn’t mean it will be easy to get.
In fact, due to the way it is distributed, it is expected to become highly competitive and difficult to obtain especially at physical stores in Japan.

Limited Store Distribution (First-Come, First-Served)

This Luffy promo card will be given to only the first 20 customers at each participating store who purchase Ichiban Kuji tickets.

• Limit: One card per person
• Store purchases: First-come, first-served
• Online purchases: Cards are distributed randomly, not guaranteed

This difference alone is why many collectors in Japan are expected to line up early at physical locations.
